Biography
Peter H. Bauer is currently a Professor in Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame and his research is in the areas of electric and hybrid electric vehicles, optimal power generation efficiency, control and modeling of dynamical systems, swarming and sensor-actuator networks, as well as optimization and sensor fusion. He received his Diplom degree from TU Munich, Germany (1984) and his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, Fl. (1987). He is author of 180 technical papers and 6 book chapters and is a Fellow of the IEEE. He is also co-founder of two start-up companies.
