Biography
Professor Lala Behari Sukla obtained his B.Sc.(Engineering) Metallurgy and M. Tech, Metallurgy in 1971 and in 1973 from the National Institute Technology, Rourkela. He worked on hydrometallurgy, biohydrometallurgy, waste management, environmental mining management, and recycling. He is now an active editorial board member in 3 peer-reviewed scientific journals, an active reviewer in 5 peer-reviewed scientific journals, and had published 226 research papers in international/national journals, 5 books, 20 book chapters,10 patents, 30 International Conference proceedings, and 4,546 citations with h-index: 34, i10-index: 94.Prof.Sukla has been named in the world ranking of top two percent scientists, drawn up on the basis of a subject-wise analysis conducted by Stanford University, USA(My rank is 328 in the area of Mining & Metallurgy).

Biography
Ir. Ts. Dr. Zaki Yamani bin Zakaria acquired his first degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Bradford, England in 1999 and Chemical Engineering Master Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2004. After that he worked as a chemical engineer in an oil and gas related company and an as a process engineer in an edible oil refinery. He joined the faculty as a lecturer in July 2008. He then continued to pursue his PhD in Chemical Engineering also in UTM and had successfully graduated in 2013. His PhD research dealt with catalytic reaction engineering, where the title of his PhD is “Catalytic conversion of glycerol to olefinâ€.
