Biodiesel application
Biodiesel can be used in pure form or may not be blended with the petroleum diesel at any concentration in most pump diesel engines. Blends of biodiesel and conventional to hydrocarbon-based diesel are products the most commonly are distributed for using retail diesel fuel marketplace. Biodiesel is also be used as heating fuel in domestic and commercial boilers, a mix of heating oil and biofuel which is standardized and taxed slightly differently from the diesel fuel used for transportation. A test flight has been performed by a Czech jet aircraft completely powered by biodiesel.
